I had this idea that I wanted to recreate the FF7 menu screen portraits with my friends! I shot these myself, as lately that seems to be what I do since it’s so difficult to manage everybody’s schedules. FF7 gives me such wonderful nostalgic feels and I felt that the artwork from it is so unique and lovely. I think the stylization that Nomura used for it is unlike any of his other work! looking at the artwork from the in game portraits just takes me back to when I first played the game so recreating the lighting and poses was super fun! I hope you all enjoy these. I’d love to do the other characters too someday!! . .
